The palmers piece is great but then you still have to bleed/shotdown your line or hook up a slide check.
Dead on paintball or dop sells drips forwards that the Asa is an off on. Nice thing about them I when you turn it out to turn it off. It bleeds your lines. Therefore I don not have to run a slide check on both lines. Saves me twenty bucks for the slide check and makes my remote line less bulk without the slide check.
The dop Asa on off run 22-25 bucks though.

I have not set-up anything yet but looking at the Remote Air Adapter for the mag, it's just a straight pipe. so i'll have to have a slide on my line to my pistol so i can reload that magazine or a bleed/shotdown like Tangus999 suggest?

No you don't NEED a slide check on you pistal line but if you don't have a means to stop the air flow out of that line you will HAVE to have a gun hooked up to it.
Depending on how you play and whatvyou want to play with it might be better to have an on off valve. Or maybe an on off valve with a quick disconnent so you can get ride ofthe pistol line if you don't want to play with a postal. The sky is the limit.
Like I said before there are slot of different way to run this.

for a simpler setup you can get an on and off asa and attach that to the tank, they normally have to outlets one for a gauge the other to the microline to the reg

both ports are identical so you can simply attach one remote to each side

as another option you can get an fill adapter from palmers that has a port on each side

Does any have the above Palmer Adapter, is it normal that the knob screws completely off when you open the air up into it?

Yes it is normal. Some on off have set screws in the knob so they dont fall off. Just depends on how the Asa was designed.
Put a dab of red locktite in the knob and it should stay jut fine UNLESS you torn on it.
Here is the other thing to remember you don't scree the fitting UP let air air. You screw it DOWN to push the tanks pin valve open. But you just twist it open till you hear the air go through the line and then one more complete turn. If you turn it to much you can actually restrict the flow of air.
I'm not sure if you understand this or if I explained it goo enough
